So my last post was about running in Hamburg. But I also did some walking. Here are some interesting places and moments I’ve captured on a short walk near Alster and city center. Enjoy.
Let’s start at the Barmbek station. I admire fast, good and reliable transport. S- and U-Bahns are great way to travel around.
Christmas Market
Looks like people in Hamburg love to celebrate Christmas time. There were many nice & special marketplaces scattered around Hamburg, where you could buy hot wine, snacks, crafts and gifts!
Actually many people gathered in such places. And beautiful lights on trees have multiplied amazing atmosphere.
You could really buy some cool stuff there. Toys, presents, sweets, local crafts, hot wine. Great Christmas market!
Alster
It was cold and windy when I arrived there. Only couple people wandered on the pavement on the side. I took some time to capture nice lights of the christmas tree placed in the middle.
One of my favourites shot from that day. A lone musician playing on the side.
