Short month, only 4 weeks, the results are in. According to Strava, in February I ran 130 km, spending 16 hours running.

I had one hiccup in the middle of the month, when I felt like I was about to get sick, so I skipped the Saturday run and did a shorter one on Sunday (instead of planned 21 km). But other than that, I’ve been quite consistent with my training and I feel like it’s been paying off. My pace is improving slightly, and I’m feeling more comfortable in running longer distances.
Long runs
I’ve done only 2 long runs this month, one for around 21 km and the other one 15 km.

The weather is still not so great, so the runs are often a struggle against the wind, rain and endless mud puddles along the way. But they are also occasions to explore local areas and discover new paths.

Today, actually is my next planned long run, the longest one so far. I am about to run for 25 km, we’ll see how it goes. I feel a bit of fatigue in my legs, but I think if I take it slow and easy it should be fine.
In March I’ll share some more updates and hope to also add some bits about the gear I use as I’ve got some new things this season. So until next time, friends. Keep running!
